What is included in move-in cleaning?
Move-in cleaning gives your new space a detailed reset before you unpack. We clean throughout the home, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, floors, baseboards, accessible surfaces, and the inside of empty cabinets, drawers, closets, and shelving.
Should the home be empty before the cleaning?
Whenever possible, yes. An empty home gives us better access to floors, corners, cabinets, closets, shelving, and other areas that become harder to reach once furniture and belongings arrive. Scheduling before move-in day gives us the best opportunity for a thorough clean.
Do I need to be there during the cleaning?
Not necessarily. If access can be arranged ahead of time, we can complete the cleaning while you focus on everything else that comes with moving. We’ll confirm access details with you before your appointment.
How long does move in cleaning take?
It depends on the size and condition of the property and the level of cleaning needed. Because move-in cleaning is more detailed than routine house cleaning, we allow the time necessary to address the agreed-upon scope. We’ll discuss your property when preparing your quote.
Can you clean inside cabinets and drawers?
Yes. Empty cabinets and drawers are cleaned as part of our move-in service, giving you a fresh place for dishes, food, toiletries, clothing, and other belongings before you unpack.
When should I schedule my move in cleaning?
Ideally, schedule your cleaning after the previous occupants have moved out and before your furniture and belongings arrive. This gives our team the clearest access to the home and means you can start unpacking into a freshly cleaned space.
